A typical battery takes hours to charge and cannot be used for long journeys because it requires overnight charging time. The Phoenix system solved this by creating a battery that could be recharged in JUST 10 MINUTES! Now before you get too excited, the 10 minute rapid charge requires an industrial pwoer supply and would be quite expensive, but it is possible. A typical charge from a 220V outlet would take approximately 5-6 hours. According to the company, a full charge will provide the driver with 130 miles of driving. Unlike most electric vehicles, the Phoenix vehicles will feature power locks and windows, heating and air-conditioning. It is expected to have 6 color options and will come with a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty. Among the kost impressive features of this already impressive car is the 590 foot pounds of tourque it puts out.
